New to Podcasts?

HERE’S HOW TO LISTEN

You can find BELIEVER on all major podcast apps. If that’s all the info you need, then get out there and listen! Please subscribe to the show wherever you listen, and leave a rating and review if you can. Those are three things that really help the show grow.

If you don’t know what I’m talking about, fear not! I’ve got handy links and instructions just for you.

So…how do you want to get your podcasts?

I want to listen on my computer.

I have an iPhone.

I have an Android phone.

I just want to read transcripts.
(This link takes you to the internal transcripts page. You can also reach transcripts on each episode by finding its post on the “Episodes” page)

How to Listen on a Computer

The easiest thing is to just click on episodes at the top of the page. Each episode is embedded there. You can also listen directly from the site that hosts this podcast.

If you have Spotify, you can follow the show there! Just click here or search for the show under the “Podcasts” section. Click FOLLOW (next to the Play button), and from then on you’ll see Believer whenever you click on the “Podcasts” section.

Each episode is also uploaded to YouTube, where you can subscribe to the channel. Episodes upload as “videos” that are actually just a still image with the episode audio underneath.

How to Listen on an iPhone

Apple puts its podcast app on all iPhones by default, so you probably already have it. Just find the little purple icon or ask Siri to open the Podcasts app.

If you don’t have it, go to the App Store and type in “Podcast.” It’ll come right up.

Are you looking at this page from your iPhone right now? If so, just click here! A prompt will pop up asking if you want to open this page in “Podcasts.” Tap yes, et voila!

Or you can...

  • Open the app.

  • Hit the magnifying glass in the bottom right corner.

  • Type in “Believer”

  • Scroll until you see the cover art, then tap it.

You should see a purple button next to the show title that says SUBSCRIBE. Tap that, and you’ll get new episodes sent right to you.

Tap on the episode you want to hear, and it’ll just start playing. If there’s a little cloud icon next to it, then you’re currently streaming it -- tap that cloud if you want to download it instead.

To find the show again, tap the Apple Podcasts icon. If you tapped the Subscribe button before, then BELIEVER will show up right there under “Listen Now” whenever there’s a new episode. You can also tap “Library” at the bottom of the page to look at shows you’ve subscribed to.

You can also tell Siri “Play Podcast Believer” and it should do it. I do it in the car all the time.

How to Listen on an Android Phone

Androids don’t come pre-loaded with a podcast app, but you have quite a few options. Personally I think Google Podcasts is the most straightforward, so I’ll start with that. Google also has a full page of instructions for using the app right here.

Open the Google Play store and search for “Google Podcasts.” Then download it.

Once you have the app, you can open this page on your phone and just tap right here to open BELIEVER in Google Podcasts.

Or you can…

  • Open the app

  • Tap the magnifying glass in the upper left corner

  • Type in “Believer”

  • Scroll until you see our cover art and then tap on it

Tap on SUBSCRIBE to bookmark the podcast. It’ll be right there on the home page next time you open the app.

Depending on what screen you’re in, you’ll either see a triangle-shaped play icon next to the episode title or the words “Play episode” somewhere on the page. Tap that and it’ll start playing.

If you don’t like that app, then Stitcher has an easy interface, some cool features, and you can use it with Amazon Alexa.

Wherever you listen, remember to subscribe!

Most apps use subscriber numbers to decide which shows to put at the top of search results. If you subscribe or follow, then that helps other people find the show.

Ratings and reviews also help other people decide whether they want to listen. So if you see any blank stars near my show, click to fill them all in!
